The St. Anne Altar Society is a local, spiritual, social and service organization noted for being the oldest in the parish (1949). The primary objective of the Society is to pay homage to God and the personal sanctification of all members through the intercession of St. Anne. The Christmas Fantasy Arts and Crafts Show and the Spring Card Party are their two main fund raisers. These funds assure proper care of the sanctuary, the purchase of albs and vestments, membership in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the fulfillment of needs requested by the Pastor. The Altar Society organizes and participates in the St. Vincent de Paul food collection, a baby shower for needy and unwed mothers and the Easter and Christmas flower collections. Many volunteer opportunities include cleaning the church, working the craft show, card party and working with the Funeral Brunch Committee. All women of the parish are welcome to attend the meetings which take place on the first Wednesday of the month in the Church Meeting Room following the 6:30 pm Mass.
